Using task templates

How to easily create a structural task?

TEACHER authoring tool facilitates the creation of structural tasks that are difficult to recognize and to do for a blind student. A good example of a technically difficult task for a blind student is the one in which s/he must insert an item in a specific place or match components. The teacher can automatically generate a new math document based on the available task template (Calculate expressions or Matching) or insert particular elements in the template (the result field or link field) while editing the math document.

New document based on the selected template contains complete instruction to the task with a possible tip on how to solve it, as well as the set of sample content design of the task. The latter can be tailored to the needs: change or assign values, remove redundant elements, move to another place in the document.

The Maching template uses link fields elements.

The Calculate expressions template uses result field elements.
